“Give someone a fish, you feed them for a day. Teach someone to fish and you feed them for a lifetime.”
About Trisha
Teacher and Certified Focusing Practitioner
My goal is to help people who feel stuck or blocked somewhere in their lives and who often have a tendency to criticise themselves for not changing. I guide my clients to shift into a feeling of fresh energy and a new perspective, so they can move forward with life again.
My 'why'
Everything I do is to enable holistic health (mind, body and soul) of all living beings. So that world peace and well-being of life, along with all humanity is enabled so we can realise the fullness of life’s glorious, awesome, and beautiful potential.
My background
-
Throughout the course of my life I have been an enthusiast for health and wellness. Holistic wellness is my way of life, embraced through daily Focusing, yoga, mindfulness routines, and cultivating an organic garden.
Since the beginning of 2022, Focusing has been my compass for inner growth and has helped both balance and enrich my life's journey. My dedication to self-exploration and growth led me to embark on the Focusing Practitioner Certification training, completed in June 2024.

Alongside Focusing I am a dedicated educator with a background in Botany and a passion for nurturing young minds. With a Bachelor in Science and a Diploma of Teaching, I've spent nearly 30 years fostering a love for learning in both Primary and Secondary schools.
Alongside teaching, I've championed environmental awareness as an Enviroschools Facilitator. My journey has been enriched by motherhood, raising two remarkable young women. Beyond education, I've delved into Anthropology, deepening my understanding of humanity's tapestry.

I love to nurture an organic garden, joyfully tending to vegetables that eventually grace my table.
Nature beckons me outdoors, where I often go tramping in New Zealand's stunning landscapes, from lush forests to serene coastlines - a perfect balance to life's intricate tapestry. I have now begun the journey of combining the practice of Focusing with nature’s healing properties.
